The Nazaré is a 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 300Tdi from Portugal, named after the Portuguese coastal town famous for its giant surf. We painted it piece by piece in Dolphin Grey, our take on Nardo Grey, and converted it to a soft top with heavy-duty roll bars and a premium Stayfast canvas top from Exmoor Trim. Inside, it was finished for open-air use with weather-resistant Exmoor Trim vinyl seats and wash-out rubber flooring. It’s built for sunny days: drop the top, strap a board to the roll bars and head for the coast, and don’t worry about the sand.

Build Highlights
Body: Painted piece by piece in Dolphin Grey. Soft-top conversion with heavy-duty roll bars and an Exmoor Trim Stayfast canvas top. Gloss black grille, arches and hinges, NAS-style rear step bumper, LED indicators and DRL bumper.
Chassis: Original frame in black epoxy, VIN preserved. Rebuilt axles, new brakes, gloss black Boost alloys.
Drivetrain: Timing belt and ancillaries replaced, new clutch and hydraulics, gearbox and transfer case serviced.
Interior: Exmoor Trim black vinyl seats front and rear, rubber flooring, Evander wood steering wheel, lockable steel cubby.
Electrics: Harnesses cleaned, repaired and tested. Truck-Lite LED headlights, new alternator and battery.
