Base vehicle: 2002 Td5 Defender 110 from Spain
Features: Air-Conditioning, Chestnut Brown Leather Interior, Exmoor Trim Seats, Black Sawtooth Wheels CarPlay Stereo.
We completely restored this 2001 Defender 110 starting with rebuilding the motor, turbo, gear and transfer boxes, and installed a new clutch.
The body was disassembled and painted Corris Metallic “Gunmetal” Grey, while painting the roof, hood, wheel arches and rear door were painted Santorini black. The indicators were upgraded to “Smoked” clear LEDs & headlights to chrome projector lights. An “Adventure Edition” grille was installed and the light surrounds were painted Santorini Black.
For the interior we installed a completely new Chestnut brown leather Exmoor Trim seating, with the more comfortable Modular seats upfront, an updated second row seats that have headrests, and matching leather covered door cards, complete with diamond quilted inserts.
For comfort, we installed a stock Air-Conditioning system and a 6.1 speaker sounds system driven by a touchscreen Alpine Halo9 CarPlay head unit complete with back up camera, to assist with rear viewing.
The suspension is was completely replaced with Bilstein B6 “yellow” shocks and -2″ lower Terrafirma springs. Super Orange “Dynamic” Polybushings were installed in order to dampen the ride and reduce harsh vibrations. The brakes were upgraded to EBC “Black” slotted disks and new brake pads for increased stopping power.
We finished it off with Sawtooth wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich KO2 Tires and a modern, aerodynamic Snorkel.
